Xperate has appointed Anand Ablack, as President, North America, bringing with him a wealth of legal tech expertise as well as regional knowledge and profile. This strategic growth demonstrates their commitment to global growth this year and beyond.
Xperate’s global presence
Simon Hill and Mark Garnish created Xperate just three years ago, with a vision to provide services to clients all over the world. It wasn’t long before Bharat Gidde, long-time friend and colleague of Mark and Simon, joined the Xperate team as Chief Technology Officer, leading operations in Pune, India.
For the last three years, Xperate has been growing rapidly, providing innovative, quality and cost-efficient solutions for an increasing number of law firms and legal technology businesses. Simon and Mark’s background has ensured that Xperate has been recognised by firms and individuals worldwide, and attendance at North American events such as ILTACON and LegalWeek has increased their exposure in this area of the world.
With Xperate’s operations in North America – based in Toronto and Montreal – fully underway, this is an exciting time for the business, and they look forward to elevating firms in this region to new heights.

With over 20 years of experience in the legal technology sector, Anand is the perfect individual to lead their expansion into North America. He has previously worked with Simon Hill, allowing an easy transition into the Xperate family.
Anand is a senior legal technology leader with deep strategic, commercial, and operational experience in publicly traded and privately-held businesses. He is a creative and driven professional who has led category-defining business lines including practical guidance and legal news, and has deep experience scaling growth businesses in the legal technology sector. Anand brings the essential industry insight required to transform the way their clients operate.
