Building technology adoption and adaptability with LTC4
The use of legal technology is such a fundamental requirement for the modern lawyer that it should no longer be necessary to talk about the need to improve basic skills. Time pressures dictate that the ability to really function effectively and efficiently has never been more important. However, conversations with technology training and service desk professionals reveal that although many firms use some of the most common desktop applications, there are areas where the increasing range of functionality remains underutilized or not clearly understood.
LTC4’s mission is to improve overall legal technology skills with its 10 workflow-based Learning Plans, developed by training, legal and IT professionals working in the industry. These learning plans are carefully designed to minimize attorney training time while providing a real-life structure for training delivery and assessment.
All the Learning Plans are regularly reviewed by LTC4 volunteers (2024 versions were launched in early 2024) and LTC4 Certification has become the benchmark by which a firm can reassure its clients that their employees not only know their tech (regardless of which applications they use) but can actually prove they do.
