Aderant, a global business management software provider for law firms, has announced the integration of its legal knowledge management solution, Handshake, with its popular EA Pro feature. Available to users of Aderant’s Expert law firm billing software, the EA Pro feature functions as a contextual menu, giving users a simplified view of their daily tasks along with links to complete each item. By integrating Handshake content into EA Pro, Aderant can provide more data, better visualisations, live interactions with information, and an all-around better experience.
While the EA Pro feature has been widely adopted and receives high marks for visibility, the Handshake integration was crucial in extending the usability of EA Pro beyond the information found in Expert. Handshake connectors supply more robust data and expand customisation functionality to better serve the unique needs of each user. The integration also allows firms to use and reuse content across multiple platforms, including EA Pro, SharePoint, and Microsoft Teams.
