Intapp announces general availability of new experience management system
Intapp, a global leader in business applications for professional services firms, today announced the availability of Intapp Open Experience, its new experience management system. Intapp Open Experience has been implemented by Osborne Clarke, a leading international legal practice, and is being showcased this week at Inception 2017, Intapp’s global user conference.
Intapp Open Experience is designed to help win more business by providing visibility into work performed by the firm across practices, sectors and jurisdictions, enabling marketing, business development and practitioners themselves to better differentiate their expertise. Intapp captures information on individual matters and projects by integrating data from the firm’s existing systems and makes it searchable, avoiding the need for extensive data entry.

Osborne Clarke is now live on Intapp Open Experience. The firm is using the application to inform credentials presentations and pitches, and plans to also roll out the system to lawyers, so they can provide clients and prospects with a better understanding of the firm’s broader capabilities and experience, and cross-sell additional services.
“With the growth of our business in the UK and internationally, we have a wealth of expertise to offer our clients. The Intapp experience management system provides us with accurate information and visibility, enabling lawyers as well as the marketing and business development team to make the most of our collective knowledge by highlighting examples of past work relevant to new business opportunities, cross-selling, and collaborating more effectively across the firm,” said Richard Cliff, Head of Business Development, Osborne Clarke.
He added, “After evaluating solutions from several vendors, it was clear that Intapp Open Experience did the best job of addressing our internal stakeholder requirements. The system is simple to use and doesn’t require extensive training. It is also versatile and can be used flexibly by different stakeholders, and integrates well with our other systems. The personal interaction and customer care we’ve had from Intapp is first class – and we’re looking forward to working with Intapp to expand the scope of what our experience management system can to do help us win even more business in the future.”
From business development to business acceptance
Intapp Open Experience is the latest addition to the Intapp Open product family, which now spans business development, new business intake, conflicts management, and terms of business management.
Like all Intapp software, Intapp Open Experience is designed to work well in modern professional services environments. The experience management system integrates and centralizes data from a range of sources – from internal systems for NBI, conflicts, and time and billing – to external data sources such as Dun & Bradstreet.
“Legal and professional services firms are facing tremendous pressure to articulate the unique value they provide to clients and prospects, in order to compete and win. Without the right tools in place, most firms find it challenging to paint an accurate, complete view of the firm’s current and past experience. Information tends to live in silos, and in most cases firms rely on word of mouth, or on unreliable systems that depend on information being entered and re-entered manually,” said Mark Bilson, Vice President, Client Development Practice, Intapp.
“By investing in Intapp Open Experience, firms can respond to RFPs and other new business opportunities more quickly, informed by a robust, comprehensive view of firm experience and relevant expertise of individuals throughout the firm,” Bilson added. “With deeper insight into the types of current and past projects and matters the firm has worked on, leading firms such as Osborne Clarke are better positioned to fully leverage their experience, market and differentiate the services they offer, and achieve continued growth.”
