Cloud Performance, Platform Advancements and Customer Success Program drive continued double-digit growth for iManage
iManage, the company dedicated to transforming how professionals work, today announced that the company’s investment in its Cloud, Platform and Customer Success Program has resulted in double-digit customer growth across multiple segments. The overall customer base stands at 3,500 customers and over one million users globally; market share in key segments includes 78% of the global 100 law firms, 21% of the Fortune 500, and over 1,900 small and medium-sized law firms.
Global Matter Management, Security & Support Service Drive Cloud Momentum
2019 saw iManage welcome a new cloud customer every business day with over 300 new firms and 130 existing clients added to the iManage Cloud community. This strong growth has been driven by providing easy-to-use software and powerful, smart features coupled with industry-leading security and governance capabilities – all delivered in the industry’s most reliable cloud.

Due to the simplicity a single vendor solution delivers, iManage saw a marked increase in adoption of its cloud platform by regional firms, such as McGlinchey Stafford, Keker & Van Nest, and Brooks Cushman, among others. With over 1,900 customers in this segment, iManage now has customers in every state in the US.

iManage now has over 1,200 Legal Departments and other enterprise customers, and welcomed over 100 new customers in 2019. Activity in this segment continues to increase as legal departments look beyond file shares and “enterprise-standard” technology to adopt proven legal industry solutions. Demands for advanced capabilities in document management, search and knowledge management, collaboration, and contract management – all underpinned by the highest levels of security – have made iManage the undisputed leader in this space.
Change Management Drives Success
2019 saw the introduction of the iManage Customer Adoption Program focusing on the desired outcome of well-adopted and satisfied end users. The program is a collection of tools, training, videos, best practices, and curated materials based on the experience of the entire iManage ecosystem. These tools and certifications are available to both the iManage partner and customer community. This allows iManage customers to enable themselves or to utilize an extensive partner ecosystem to facilitate the adoption.
The recent ILTA Technology Survey identified that three of the top four “technology issues” at its member organizations involve change. This includes end user’s acceptance of change, keeping current with changing software, and managing expectations of change. “The program we have developed provides a prescriptive path to help our customers address their greatest challenges, which often center on change management.
