Centre for Assessment has achieved new accreditations
Accreditation to ISO 9001:2015 – quality management systems
Having successfully navigated their way through a desk-top assessment, head office visit assessment and witnessed audit assessment without a single issue being raised, Centre for Assessment has now been granted accreditation by UKAS (the UK Accreditation Service) to certify clients to the new ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management Systems Standard. Being awarded this new scope is a very important milestone for Centre for Assessment and represents all of the hard work which has been put into achieving this goal.
New Scopes Granted for ISO 14001 – environmental management systems
Following a year-long journey with UKAS (the UK Accreditation Service), Centre for Assessment has been granted additional scope to provide UKAS accredited ISO 14001 (Environmental Management Systems) Certification in a range of additional industry sectors. In addition to the current scope of accreditation with UKAS, Centre for Assessment are now able to service the following sectors:
- EA 24 – Recycling and Waste Management Sectors
- EA 34 – Engineering Service Sectors
- EA 37 – Education Sectors
- EA 38 – Health and Social Care Sectors
Centre for Assessment is hoping that the additional scope will act as a catalyst both in gaining new business and increasing the environmental profile of the company.
Following receipt of the official Grant Letters from UKAS; Chris Tully (Certification Manager for Centre for Assessment) expressed the importance of this outcome: “It is a great achievement for Centre for Assessment to be awarded both the new ISO 9001:2015 accreditation and scope to certify the additional Environmental Sectors. We have been providing accredited Quality Management Systems certification in these sectors for a number of years now and so being able to provide accredited Environmental Management Systems Certification to both new and existing clients was an important goal for us. I’d like to thank everyone who has assisted us in our efforts to add these valuable extensions to our accreditation with UKAS”.
