Ambition strengthen commitment to diversity by launching a new subdivision, Ambition+.
Global boutique recruitment specialists Ambition have strengthened their commitment to diversity by launching a new subdivision of the UK business, Ambition+.
Led by Head of Diversity Services Sally Clare, the Ambition+ business is solely dedicated to creating a more diverse workforce, working with organisations across the Professional Services and Financial Services markets to provide guidance on the challenges faced in respect to diversity and, in particular, gender diversity.
Sally Clare said, “Many companies focus on their top tier female talent and are working to get more women on their executive boards. Whilst this is absolutely necessary, we believe that it is important for businesses to focus on their pipeline talent coming up through the ranks of the business to help create the female leaders of the future.
Many businesses need help and guidance around the challenges they are face in terms gender diversity and for that reason we have created Ambition+ to help our clients overcome these issues and be more diverse and inclusive in their approach.”
This new business offering provides a range of tailored training sessions and services to help not only Ambition’s clients, but other recruitment agencies, to embrace diversity throughout the talent process.
Ambition UK’s Managing Director Andrea Williams said, “We believe it is time for recruitment companies to do more than just talk about diversity and count the number of men and women on their short lists.
We have put our money where our mouth is and have created this new role as a Head of Diversity Services. Sally has been instrumental in building our reach across our client base, adding strength and depth to the recruitment services we can offer our clients.
We have had far more meaningful business conversations and work with our clients as true recruitment partners because we have focused our energies on this. I am a great believer in promoting gender diversity - once we have more women leading companies, other diversity and inclusion initiatives will flourish.
We also want to work with other recruitment companies to help them move their diversity agenda forward - by sharing knowledge and experience we will all win in the long run.”
