Another great day at the Briefing Operational Leaders in Legal conference
Last week Wednesday the LSN team welcomed 120+ attendees to the Hilton London Tower Bridge for the annual Briefing Operational Leaders in Legal 2014 conference.
The unique one-day event allows chief operating officers, business managers and others in operational leadership roles (from large UK and international law firms), to gather together under one roof, addressing the challenges operational leaders face in driving efficiencies, productivity and profitability.
Sponsored by Thomson Reuters Elite, LexisNexis, BigHand, Aderant, Vodafone, Barclays, Intelligent Office, Thomson Reuters and Konica Minolta - the conference kicked off at 9am on 26 November 2014 and saw 97 COO’s and operational heads in law firms descend on the Hilton from 58 different law firms including: Eversheds, DWF, Linklaters, Hogan Lovells, Clifford Chance, Olswang, Herbert Smith Freehills and more!
Following the opening GC panel discussion, this year saw the attendees hear from 30 senior, experienced leaders in the industry such as:
- Antonia Adams, director – global programme group, Clifford Chance
- Amelia Kidd, director of practice operations, Baker & McKenzie
- Nick Salmon, chief operating officer, EMEA, White & Case
- Danielle Nagler, chief operating officer, real estate, Berwin Leighton Paisner

The day was a great success, with various attendees finding the event extremely insightful and worthwhile, all in all another great OLIL conference!
