Recently, we teamed up with a forward-thinking international law firm to create two key digital brand tools using Foleon: a Brand Book and a Tone of Voice Document. Foleon is a content creation platform that enables businesses to craft interactive, web-based documents for engaging and impactful storytelling. These projects were all about strengthening their updated brand identity, both within the company and in the world, blending emotional storytelling with practical advice.
Objectives

- Tone of Voice Document: Deliver a practical, content-focused guide in the same cohesive style to outline the brand’s personality and communication style.
Approach
1. Getting Creative Together
- Kickoff calls: We started with in-depth chats to really understand the client’s vision, values, and what they wanted to achieve. This gave us a clear sense of their themes: “people-powered creativity” and “a point of view like no other.”
- Mood boards and ideas: Early on, we shared mood boards and creative research. This helped everyone—from the designers to the client—get on the same page about the project’s vibe right from the start.
- Iterative feedback: Throughout the process, we kept the lines of communication open with regular check-ins, making sure we stayed aligned every step of the way.
2. Bringing the vision to life in Foleon
- Brand Book: This visually rich, interactive document was designed to wow. Editorial-style layouts, dynamic imagery, bold fonts, and striking colors all worked together to showcase the client’s unique perspective on people, creativity, and their global reach.

- Visual Style: We leaned into “unusual perspectives” in the imagery, with black-and-yellow and black-and-white treatments for a look that was unmistakably theirs.
- Interactivity: Clickable elements and animations brought the Brand Book to life, turning it into an engaging digital experience.
- Tone of voice document: While more straightforward, this guide was just as impactful. It used the same cohesive visuals as the Brand Book but focused on being clear, practical, and easy to use.
