Aderant’s key leadership and EMEA clients represented in full force at Momentum London 2024, which took place June 12-13.
The conference paid forward on the positive energy and vibrant discussions from Global Momentum 2024 in Nashville, where Aderant launched Stridyn, a new AI-driven cloud platform.
Momentum London 2024 gave Aderant the opportunity to bestow awards upon several of its EMEA-based clients who have leveraged the company’s technology to accomplish great feats. Collectively, these firms set a high standard for excellence and dedication to leveraging Aderant technology, which in turn infuses their firms with greater efficiency, productivity, and profitability.
Here is a recap of the firms honored with awards at the user conference:
Innovator of the Year: Thompsons Solicitors
Thompsons has demonstrated remarkable vision and courage while transforming their business with Aderant’s solutions. An Aderant client since 2004, the firm faced operational challenges due to the elevated level of customizations and integrations they developed over the years.
In 2021, they reimplemented Expert and migrated to Sierra to harness the power of standard functionality, streamline processes, and shed hundreds of obsolete customizations and integrations. The firm collaborated closely with Aderant to ensure a smooth and successful transition. Thompsons went live with Expert Billing, Expert Accounts Payable, and Expert General Ledger, all integrated with MatterSphere. The firm also used modernized APIs to connect with third-party applications.
Better Together: Walkers Global
The Better Together Award recognizes the power of collaboration, innovation, and a shared vision. The winner was Walkers Global, an Aderant client since 1999 which has heavily customized Expert to meet their complex business needs.
In partnership with Aderant, Walkers Global has streamlined processes, enhanced productivity, and driven success. This partnership started with upgrading a technology system but became much more meaningful – it led to a transformation of the firm’s mindset, culture, and way of doing business.
Newcomer of the Year: Browne Jacobson
The Newcomer of the Year Award celebrates the infusion of new perspectives, creativity, and the bold spirit that a new client brings to Aderant. The winner of this award was Browne Jacobson. From the beginning, the firm seamlessly integrated with Aderant’s consulting team, establishing a strong and trusting partnership to achieve their ambitious objectives. The firm’s unified approach led to them working diligently with all stakeholders, including third-party contributors and internal departments. The project board ensured effective delivery of the project with exceptional participation and focus.
Firm of the Year: Potter Clarkson
Potter Clarkson won the Firm of the Year award due to its overall excellence as well as setting the highest benchmark for true collaboration and partnership. An Aderant client since 2001, the firm has shown a commitment to adopting the latest technology, improving constantly, and embracing new opportunities.
As they now migrate to Sierra and iTimekeep, they continue to rely on Aderant solutions to keep their business moving forward. This loyalty symbolizes their forward-thinking vision and their commitment to excellence.
Excellence in ESG: Penningtons Manches Cooper
ESG (environmental, social and governance) initiatives are a top priority at Aderant, becoming increasingly important to how Aderant does business. Penningtons Manches Cooper won this year’s ESG award due to their remarkable strides toward their pledge to ensure a greener future. The firm offers sustainability legal expertise which has been a guiding light for its clients navigating the complexities of ESG compliance. Also, from offsetting carbon emissions to achieving ISO 14001:2015 certification, green travel and videoconferencing initiatives, their internally focused sustainability journey is truly inspiring. Their commitment to the Science Based Targets Initiative and switching to 100% renewable energy by 2025 both underscore their ESG dedication.
