Northern Ireland law firm shares experience of going live with Liberate from Linetime
Leading Northern Ireland law firm Carson McDowell selected Liberate from Linetime as its practice and case management platform for the firm’s future development. The system replaced the firms existing LexisNexis platforms.
The selection process reviewed the wider legal software market place and Liberate was selected due to its close fit with the firm’s current needs as well as providing the platform for web enabled service to clients. As part of the review a risk analysis of systems migration was undertaken. With an ever greater reliance on IT systems a natural concern was how to manage and execute the system transition process.
Paul Graham, Finance Director, “We went live with Liberate within six months of agreeing terms with Linetime. A significant contribution to achieving this was Linetime’s commitment to manage the conversion of our existing financial data to Liberate and their team’s detailed knowledge and expertise of this process. We are delighted at how accurately our financial data was converted and this enabled our finance team to carry on with its normal business immediately after Go-Live and without disruption to our clients. Linetime’s commitment has remained after the conversion process and we continue to be impressed with the accessibility of their support team including those involved in the conversion process.”
Tony Klejnow, Linetime Managing Director, “It has been a pleasure working with the Carson McDowell team. Successful projects rely on ourselves and our clients working in partnership. Our own team delivered the technical aspects of the migration with the Carson McDowell team validating the results and ensuring it meshed seamlessly with their planned working practices.”
