Chris DiMasi, Chief Technology Officer at Winstead PC, commented on the 18.1 release: “What I like about NetDocuments is our legal professionals see well-considered enhancements right away. We do not have to plan an upgrade or worry about training. It’s the predictable software delivery and NetDocuments commitment to improving the end-user experience that we value and rely on as one of our legal technology partners.”
Enhancements in the 18.1 release include user-specific features enabling the firm to further customize their experience depending on preferences and frequently accessed features.
Specific enhancements include:
One-click access to an individual’s recent documents, making accessible the 10 most recent documents;
A customizable ‘power bar’ for individuals to specify their most-used/preferred document options simply by dragging and dropping;
Enhanced UI of the Search Results page, including unlimited scroll and Power Bar access;
The ability to search for documents that are checked out, displaying relevant information such as who checked them out and when;
Quick access to ‘my email’ in users’ navigation pane.
“We’re excited to announce and deliver the latest release and user-enabled features of the NetDocuments service,” Leonard Johnson, VP of Products at NetDocuments. “Our product development is centered on our customers’ need to deliver software solutions to their professionals and clients. We’re seeing our firms increase user adoption and client engagement using inherently mobile, secure, and easy to use document and email management and collaboration products. This is in a large part due to our customer-led product development model where we actively solicit customer input and direction.”
